The building where the Lucina restaurant is located was originally built for the American Herbert Clark family, and meets the eyes with the Muslim luxury building. Over the years, the special place has become the home of the Lucina restaurant, where architectural motifs of yesteryear blend harmoniously with design in modern lines. Guests in the restaurant are greeted in all its splendor, with arches and farce windows, walls made of rows of red stones and renewed Carrara marble flooring, a backdrop of fallen trees, vines and green vineyards envelops the restaurant and completes a heart-expanding atmosphere. The dairy menu at Lucina contains a huge abundance of fine Italian flavors, including fresh pastas, fresh fish, special salads and homemade desserts that delight the human heart. An old time dairy bookstore cafe in the city center, Tmol Shilshom is a popular, kosher culinary and cultural institution favored for its warm ambiance, delicious food, plethora of books and very friendly service. The cafe is well known for its tasty dishes, including their famous shakshuka, a favorite amongst tourists, the salmon fillet in fig sauce, The Lover Salad and the cheese cake. It is located in a 150-year-old building and hosts readings by Israel's best-known writers. Tmol Shilshom is named after Nobel laureate S.Y. Agnon's novel (translated as "Those Were the Days").

In 1998 I, Chef Marcus Gershkovitz opened Angelica. The goal: was to create a culinary experience that overcomes the challenges of the kosher kitchen and provides atmosphere, food, and wine of a standard to satisfy our customers to the highest degree. We initially opened the restaurant on Shatz St. which provided the inspiration for its name. Angelica is known as the “lost” daughter of Boris Shatz, founder of the Bezalel Art School. Angelica was an artist who was highly talented, vibrant, and complex and provided the expression and inspiration behind our restaurant's concept. The same expression stayed with us as we moved to Washington St. and continues to define our culinary experience to this day. We look forward to hosting you!
