The Hermitage was established in 2012 by Jaris Azzam, a third generation of restaurateurs and a family that has been in the restaurant industry for many years. The restaurant is housed in an ancient building made of basalt stones that is more than 800 years old, located on the banks of the Sea of Galilee on Tiberias Promenade The place serves special dishes from Arab cuisine, fresh fish from the Sea of Galilee and the Mediterranean Sea, good meats, fresh seafood and a variety of rich and special salads
At Mitbalim you can enjoy juicy meats and fresh fish with a surprise on the side - as the name of the restaurant suggests... The secret of the restaurant lies in the selection of wonderful dips that are made on the spot, and add a lot of flavor to the tempting dishes. Reddish-brown tones and relaxing music playing in the background create an inviting atmosphere that can be enjoyed inside the restaurant or on the balcony that can accommodate up to 230 happy guests. The size of the restaurant allows its guests to celebrate small and large events: from weddings and bar mitzvahs to alliances and business conferences.
So who are we really ?? A smoked meat restaurant that hosts you, in the form of a show. Yes Yes! Every evening you are hosted by a different pitmaster ... What is the pitmaster you ask? Specialist for use in a smokehouse, grill, or any facility that incorporates live fire for food preparation. Looking for a menu? So it is, that there is none. The Pitmaster will prepare a crazy meal consisting of 7 dishes, each of which will come out with a short and concise explanation of how to prepare. The course of the show is accompanied by happy music, the meal itself includes wine, beer and free soda all evening. And finally, if you manage to last until the end of the meal, sweets + tea and coffee are available for you. The duration of the show is about two and a half hours. The restaurant is kosher under the supervision of the Petah Tikva Rabbinate. Sitting with us at knights' tables. We at Ruben believe in the importance of combining fresh food from quality ingredients and cordial and professional hospitality. Each branch has professional cooks who love and understand meat and we advocate for the preparation of the meats and sauces in the restaurant. Our kitchens are free of soup powders or flavorings and we advocate giving a simple meal experience - at eye level but tasty and indulgent. All our branches have a smokehouse where cuts are put every night to cook slowly and absorb the aromas of the smoking wood. Our menu is built on many years of American street food classics, starting with the legendary New York Ruben sandwich through the Sloppy Joe from the South of the USA and slowly we put together a delicious and particularly juicy puzzle that every carnivore (and vegetarians too!) will find themselves and feel at home
