Since opening in 2019, Angry Monk has redefined Asian fusion fine dining in Belgrade, blending bold flavors, street party spirit, and Tokyo-Kyoto vibes in one unique experience.

The restaurant was named after the Japanese word for cherry blossom, and the menu is based on traditional dishes from Japan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, interpreted in a completely modern way.

Restaurant Istok is located in the very center, at 50 Gospodar Jevremova Street, and offers delicious Asian cuisine (mainly Vietnamese and Southeast Asian). It is recognized for its fresh, colorful dishes, carefully served with fine sauces, and has been awarded the Bib Gourmand by the MICHELIN Guide for quality and affordable prices.
