About Us

Piknik is a riverside restaurant on Ribarsko Ostrvo in Novi Sad, offering a relaxed setting beside the Danube and a menu inspired by Serbian and Vojvodina cuisine. Open since 2014, the restaurant combines familiar regional flavours with contemporary presentation, using fresh ingredients across a broad selection of breakfast dishes, traditional starters, soups, grilled meats, river fish and homemade-style desserts. The menu includes local favourites such as veal soup, ćevapi, dishes prepared under the sač and fish specialities, alongside vegetarian and gluten-free options. A carefully selected wine list highlights Serbian wineries, with a strong representation of wines from Fruška Gora and other Vojvodina regions. With river views, a welcoming atmosphere and regular music evenings, Piknik is well suited to leisurely breakfasts, family lunches, dinners with friends and relaxed celebrations away from the Novi Sad city centre.
